Abstract

The invention discloses a method for recommending an activity place based on an address book and a travel time, and the address book. The method comprises the following steps: selecting at least one contact participating in a certain theme activity from the address book of an intelligent terminal to serve as activity contacts; obtaining the geographic positions of all activity contacts; screening a plurality of candidate activity places satisfying the theme activity; sorting the candidate activity places according to the magnitude of a numerical value of a maximum predicted travel time corresponding to each candidate activity place, wherein the maximum predicted travel time is the predicted travel time of the activity contact having the largest predicted time consumption for arriving at the candidate activity place on the candidate activity place; and meanwhile sending a means of transportation for arriving at the preferred place.
