Abstract

The invention discloses a construction method for a press-in type open caisson. The construction method comprises the following steps that the open caisson sections are pressed into a soil layer section by section; the adjacent open caisson sections are connected with each other; in the press-in process of the open caisson sections, a downward pressing assembly is arranged at the top end of each open caisson section and used for adjusting the posture and the settling velocity of the open caisson sections; after the open caisson sections are pressed into the soil layer, a hold hoop is annularly arranged on the surface, located on the periphery of the port of the open caisson, of the soil layer and is fixedly connected with the outer wall of the open caisson sections; and the hold hoop abuts against the surface of the soil layer, so that settling of the open caisson sections is stopped. The construction method has the advantages that (1) settling of the open caisson sections can be prevented by adopting the hold hoop, and construction personnel can use the hold hoop to stop the open caisson sections from settling as required; and (2) the downward pressing assembly can adjust the settling velocity and the posture of the open caisson sections, so that the problem that the settling process of the open caisson sections is difficult to control is solved.
