The device comprises a thermal infrared imager, a light emitter, a spherical reflector, a light receiver, a controller and a supporting piece; the spherical reflector is installed on a power device to be tested; the light receiver is used for generating and sending the collected start signal to a controller when light reflected by the spherical reflector is received; the supporting piece comprises a rotational base, a lifting pillar and a fixing base which are connected in order; the ground collecting point is corresponding to the position of the power equipment to be tested; the installing directions of the thermal infrared imager, the light emitter and the light receiver are the same; when the collected start signal is received, the controller controls the supporting piece to stop rotating and lifting and also controls the thermal infrared imager to collect the infrared thermography; the controller further comprises a wireless communication module which is used for sending the infrared thermography to the remote terminal and receiving the control command.
