Abstract

The invention discloses a virtual machine scheduling method for safely improving resource efficiency in Iaas cloud. Optimization is conducted from two aspects, and one aspect is the aspect of static deployment of a virtual machine, wherein the physical capacity and the bandwidth capacity are met to minimize the resource consumption of a data center; the other aspect is the aspect of dynamic migration of the virtual machine. In the aspect of the static deployment of the virtual machine, the physical capacity and the bandwidth capacity are met to minimize the resource consumption of the data center; through the resource consumption change of the virtual machine in the dynamic change process, running of the virtual machine is guaranteed to the greatest extent; in the aspect of the dynamic migration of the virtual machine, the migration cost is minimized to obtain the maximum link utilization rate and reduce the resource consumption.
