One embodiment of the method comprises the steps of receiving video information sent by a client, wherein the video information comprises video data and a video data processing instruction; on the basis of the video data processing instruction, determining a video analysis algorithm assembly which is marked as an uncalled state and is used to process the video data, from a plurality of preset video analysis algorithm assemblies, wherein the video analysis algorithm assemblies are used to provide corresponding video data processing for different video data processing instructions; and on the basis of the determined video analysis algorithm assembly which is marked as the uncalled state, processing the video data, and sending a processing result to the client. According to the embodiment, a video algorithm program can be flexibly called through a video algorithm, and the video information processing cost is reduced.
