Abstract

The invention relates to an on-line total hydrocarbon concentration monitoring device of a gas processing apparatus and a method thereof, which mainly solve the coordination problems of safety and environmental protection requirement of multi-site multi-status monitoring as well as continuous monitoring and cost of the multi-detector. According to the invention, two detectors are employed, a first detector performs monitoring by keeping the total hydrocarbon concentration of gas at an inlet of the gas processing apparatus and monitors the total hydrocarbon concentration change of the gas; a second detector is used for monitoring total hydrocarbon concentration of the discharge gas of the gas processing apparatus, and is timely switched to an intermediate processing working section for monitoring, such as dilution of the gas processing apparatus, so that the problem can be better solved by the above technical scheme.
