Abstract

The invention provides a scheme of performing NB-IoT transmission frame configuration by using an LTE TDD frame structure. The scheme comprises three aspects: frame configuration supporting subcarrier transmission of lower frequency bands, synchronous signal transmission configuration and physical random access channel (PRACH) transmission configuration. One method comprises the following steps: configuring a subcarrier bandwidth applied to NB-IoT uplink transmission, wherein the configured subcarrier bandwidth is one fourth of the subcarrier bandwidth applied to NB-IoT downlink transmission; and configuring an UL sub-frame applied to the NB-IoT uplink transmission in the LTE TDD frame structure, wherein the symbol period of the NB-IoT uplink transmission is four times as large as the LTE OFDM symbol period in the UL sub-frame.
