The method comprises the following steps of receiving audio code streams sent by a terminal side, wherein each audio frame of the audio code streams carries corresponding audio information; analyzing the audio information corresponding to the current audio frame to obtain an analysis result; judging whether an effective voice message exists in the analysis result, wherein the effective voice message is used for representing an audio frequency emitted by speaking of a participator; and decoding the current audio frame when the effective voice message exists in the analysis result. Through judging whether the effective voice message, namely voice, exists in the audio code streams, all speaking information of the participators can be decoded, and the complete decoding of the audio code streams sent by the terminal side can be avoided, so that the resource consumption of a media processing unit is reduced; and the discard of the audio code streams having the smaller volume and belonging to the personal voice can be avoided, so that the audio processing effect of the conference system is improved.
