Abstract

The invention discloses a facial expression recognition method and a device in order to solve the problem that the facial expression cannot be quickly and accurately monitored in real time in the prior art. The method includes the following steps: locating key facial expression points on a face, wherein the key facial expression points cover the eyebrows, the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the cheeks; extracting facial expression features on the face subspace centering on each key facial expression point; and recognizing a facial expression according to the facial expression features extracted.
