Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, the communication between many such closed LANs is based on NAT (Network Address Translation) technology. The way of network address translation is to add routers between different network segments, and each cross-network data is addressed through the router. Conversion, the address is converted to the same LAN for data communication, the router will add an internal IP (Internet Protocol) address and external IP address when processing each data frame, and the internal IP address is set to the address in the same LAN , the purpose of setting the internal IP address is to find the external IP data packet in the same LAN. These methods need to add a static routing table when sending and receiving, and need to go through cumbersome conversion processing when you need to view the data source; A network data packet contains many protocol headers, and there is a lot of redundant data between the protocol headers. For example, a video data stream, its RTP (Real-timeTransport Protocol) data packet contains the Ethernet frame header, IP protocol header, UDP (User Datagram Protocol) protocol header, RTP protocol header, such as the network source address and destination address in UDP and the source address and destination address in the Ethernet frame header are the same, and the data packet contains a static part, in the data flow A series of packets are unchanged, such redundant data in an RTP packet has 53 bytes, and the transmission of such data causes a waste of bandwidth resources, so the data needs to be compressed before sending

Embodiment Construction

[0035] specific implementation plan

[0036] Embodiments of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings:

[0037] The system structure of the present invention is as figure 1 Shown:

[0038] In the figure, Ethernet is used to provide the data source; gateway 1 is used to receive the data frame at the data source end, and is responsible for compressing the data frame header and redirecting the data, and is in the same network segment as the data source; gateway 2: It is used to receive the data frame of gateway 1, and is responsible for decompressing the received data and feeding back ACK information. Gateway 1 and gateway 2 are not in the same network segment; by figure 1 It can be seen that the system is designed in a modular way, and a complete two-way data path is formed between the modules. The system is divided into 6 modules. The data receiving module is used to receive network data or compress data packets; the d...

Abstract

The present invention relates to an inter-network data header compression realization method. According to the method, two embedded ARM (Acorn RISC Machine) processors are adopted as a hardware basis, and the kinds of hardware are designed into gateways in different network domains by means of gateway data forwarding; a multi-processing mechanism is adopted to perform classification processing on the different data packet types of the different gateways; and a network address and physical address mapping method is adopted to achieve host communication between different local area networks. The inter-network data header compression method can be applied to an OSI (Open System Interconnection) seven-layer model-based network protocol. Different from a traditional a third-layer switching technology, the inter-network data header compression method of the present invention uses the network address and physical address mapping method in the ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) technology to process the data packets of a data link layer, so that the gateways can directly forward the data after receiving data without making the data processed by the upper layer of a network protocol, and therefore, the forwarding efficiency of the data can be increased by 15%; the quantity of data transmission in a communication link can be reduce by 12%; and good anti-jamming performance can be realized when video voice data packets are transmitted.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for realizing data header compression across network segments, and belongs to the field of wireless network communication. Using cross-network segments and data header compression to transmit information can meet the communication requirements of video data in different LANs in practical applications, while reducing the amount of data transmission, improving the utilization of wireless channels, and improving the anti-interference ability of video data communication. Background technique [0002] Cross-network segment communication refers to a communication method proposed by hosts in different LANs that need to transmit data. This communication method can conveniently solve the data communication function of hosts in different network segments. Due to the development of the Internet, users can use the The data is sent to the public network, and then transmitted to another LAN through the public network, so as to reali...
