Abstract

The invention provides an H.265 coding standard-based video encryption algorithm. The video encryption algorithm comprises the following steps of first, determining a Merge mode of an MV prediction technology of an H.265 coding standard, and generating a bit key for a random sequence with a chaos pseudo-random sequence generator, wherein a candidate list of the Merge mode has five predicted MVs, and the bit key is 1 or 0; second, if the bit key is 1, jumping to a third step, if not, jumping to a fifth step; third, if index=4, executing a seventh step, if not, executing a fourth step; fourth, performing exclusive OR operation on a chaos pseudo-random sequence of two bits and index, assigning a new value to index, and executing a sixth step; fifth, executing 4-inex operation, assigning a new value to index, wherein if bit=0, a new index is equal to 4-index, index being 2 fail to be encrypted; and sixth, inputting a new index into an entropy encoder, completing Merge index encryption, and performing entropy coding encryption.
