[0065] Computer simulations were performed to test the dispensing and mixing properties of solid dispensers according to certain embodiments of the present disclosure. For demonstration purposes, the solids distributor type chosen was a spent catalyst distributor for an FCC regenerator. Simulations were performed to compare the performance of spent catalyst dispensers according to certain embodiments of the present disclosure with the performance of conventional spent catalyst dispensers.
