The method comprises the steps of acquiring a temporary IP through a switch and by an authentication terminal in the DHCP mode; acquiring the terminal UID of a terminal safety audit platform by the authentication terminal; receiving an authentication request message by an authentication server from terminal equipment, andjudging whether the authentication of the terminal UID is required or not according to the content of the authentication request message; if the authentication of the terminal UID is required, initiating the 802.1X-based authentication by utilizing the terminal UID; if the authentication of the terminal UID is not required, initiating the 802.1X-based authentication through inputting a username and a password; according to the authentication result, determining whether to re-acquire an IP for accessing the network or not. According to the invention, the usage environment of the network can besafely and effectively controlled. Meanwhile, a common user can conveniently perform the fast authentication and use the network environment.
