Abstract

A housing sheet for forming a modular housing for mounting an electrical component on a ground rail carries a grounding member for grounding the electrical component to the ground rail. The grounding member extends outside the shell sheet, but does not extend beyond the sides of the shell sheet, to allow the shell sheet carrying the grounding member to be connected to other shell sheets with or without grounding members. The shell sheets are stacked side by side.

Background technique [0002] Terminal grounding structures consisting of an insulating housing surrounding a metallic grounding member are known. The housing is typically made of plastic and is designed to house the metal grounding member. The housing and grounding member are intended to be mounted on an elongated metal grounding rail such as a DIN rail. When the housing is mounted on the rail, one end of the ground member latches onto the rail.
