The invention belongs to the field of
intelligent transport study and relates to an adaptive intersection
signal control method considering
supply side constraint. The problem that consideration on intersection exit ramp transportation supplies is absent in the existing
signal control system and study is solved. The method comprises the following steps: 1, detecting and
processing intersection traffic information, and acquiring traffic demands of an intersection entrance ramp and traffic supplies of the exit ramp; 2, establishing a time-varying relationship of intersection traffic supplies, and constructing an intersection supply-demand matrix; 3, establishing an intersection
signal timing dial optimization model for quintuple descriptions on
problem description, initial state, target state, action set and
knowledge rule based on
intelligent planning; and 4, searching the target state by adopting a decision-making tree method, and generating a corresponding timing plan. Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that
active control of intersections is realized, the intersection downstream exit ramp
queue overflow can be avoided, and intersection '
deadlock' is avoided.
