Abstract

The invention discloses a driving assistance system for a new driver. The driving assistance system comprises a driver information verification subsystem, a new driver driving mode and evaluation subsystem and a normal driving mode subsystem. The driver information verification subsystem is used for verifying personal information of the driver and setting whether a vehicle enters a new driver driving mode or not. The new driver driving mode and evaluation subsystem comprises an engine control unit, a detection unit, a driving deviation control unit and a prompt unit. The engine control unit isused for limiting the maximum driving speed of the vehicle. The detection unit continuously detects driving behaviors of the driver and the driving state of the vehicle, senses road condition environments in real time, collects running parameters of the current vehicle and calculates the optimal driving route of the vehicle running under the current road condition. The driving deviation control unit compares a current vehicle running track with the optimal driving route to obtain a running deviation needing to be corrected. The prompt unit prompts the driver to correct the deviation, and misoperation of the new driver can be avoided through active intervention.
