Abstract

The invention provides a storage container of uranium hexafluoride with the abundance not larger than 5%. A storage container body is a cylindrical sealed container, and comprises a cylinder, a top sealing head and a bottom sealing head. A valve is arranged on the top sealing head. A support is welded to the top sealing head on the periphery of the outer side of the valve. A valve protection covercapable of covering the valve is fixedly connected with the support. A connector is welded to the bottom sealing head. A plug is connected with the connector in a threaded mode through a sealing pipe. A top skirt base is welded to the top sealing head. The valve, the support and the valve protection cover are all arranged in the top skirt base. The top skirt base and the valve protection cover together protect the valve so that the valve can be free of damage. A bottom skirt base is welded to the bottom sealing head. The connector and the plug are both arranged in the bottom sealing head. Thebottom skirt base and the top skirt base have an effect of protecting the storage container and have an effect of hoisting together. By means of the transport container which contains uranium hexafluoride with the abundance not larger than 5%, the leakage of uranium hexafluoride is prevented, the safety and reliability during transport of uranium hexafluoride are guaranteed, and transport requirements are met.
