The method comprises the steps of when it is detected that a first terminal, a communication service receiving party, fails to receive or process a communication service, pushing a notification message to at least one second terminal, wherein the notification message is used for informing the second terminal that the first terminal fails to receive or process the communication service. In related technologies, the user terminal cannot receive or process the communication service timely, consequently, important things are delayed. The method solve the above problem. Embodiments of the invention provide a new notification message pushing method. When the user terminal cannot receive or process the communication service timely, the notification message is sent to another second terminal so as to inform the user terminal of unacknowledged or unprocessed communication service, so that the user can receive or process the communication service timely, and the user experience is improved.
