The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a push request sent by a client, wherein the push request comprises an account number which logs in to the client currently; acquiring a first push content according to a pre-stored advertisement push resource list; acquiring a second push content according to a pre-stored personal push resource list corresponding to the account number; and sending the first push content andthe second push content to the client, indicating the client to display a display content corresponding to the first push content at a first preset position of a preset interface, and indicating the client to display a display content corresponding to the second push content at a second preset position of the preset interface. The displayed push content is partly from an advertisement and partly from the personal push resource list, so that the content in the advertisement list is no longer singly pushed, and thus the singleness of the push content is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
