Problems solved by technology

Although UDP based on fountain codes can achieve a relatively high success rate without transmission delay, it cannot guarantee a 100% success rate because of the use of limited redundant packets.
Therefore, the error correction capability of this method is limited, and the reliable transmission effect in the aeronautical ad hoc network is unstable

Embodiment Construction

[0052] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0053] The transmission method of the present invention has a framework such as figure 1 shown.

[0054] Step 1: On the sender side, the transmitted data is divided into packets and sent to the reliable unit. In the reliable unit, a lightweight feedback mechanism is designed: the improved SNACK mechanism is used to deal with bandwidth asymmetry, and the new sliding window mechanism is used to calculate RTT more accurately and solve the problem of TCP retransmission ambiguity.

[0055] The improved SNACK mechanism handles bandwidth asymmetry, that is, the ACK sent by the receiver includes the sequence number of the largest confirmed received packet and the sequence number of the missing packet. The sender receives the ACK and judges which ones are currently The data packets have been confirmed, which data packets have been lost, so t...

Abstract

The invention discloses an aviation ad hoc network transmission method based on reliable UDP and fountain codes. The method uses Raptor coding to avoid retransmission of a large number of data packetsin a high packet loss environment. A lightweight feedback mechanism is designed to provide reliability. The method comprises using an improved SNACK mechanism for handling an asymmetric bandwidth; using a novel sliding window mechanism for accurately computing the RTT to solve the problem of ambiguity in TCP retransmission; and providing a congestion control method for distinguishing between congestion packet loss and link switch packet loss in the aviation ad hoc network. The method of the invention satisfies the efficient and reliable transmission requirements of the aviation ad hoc network.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an end-to-end reliable transmission method in an aeronautical ad hoc network, in particular to an aeronautical ad hoc network reliable transmission method based on reliable UDP and fountain codes. Background technique [0002] With the large-scale development of global mobile Internet, airborne broadband Internet has been widely used, especially in aviation systems. As more and more users start using this service, the satellite resources in traditional aeronautical satellite communication become very limited, so new communication methods need to be integrated into the existing architecture. The network architecture extends from aircraft direct communication with ground stations and satellites to multi-hop ad hoc networks between aircrafts, resulting in aeronautical ad hoc networks. Different from terrestrial ad hoc networks, aeronautical ad hoc networks are characterized by large and variable delays, high channel error rates, ...
