Abstract

The invention discloses a compressed air drying and water producing system and method. The system comprises a refrigeration unit. Compressed air is adopted as a secondary refrigerant in an evaporatorof the refrigeration unit. Air-liquid separation of the compressed air is achieved in the evaporator, and water and dry air which are obtained after separation are respectively collected. A casing pipe type heat exchanger is adopted in the evaporator. By means of the compressed air drying and water producing system and method, dry air and fresh water can be produced from compressed air, and the air usage and water usage requirements of special users are met.
