The method comprises the following steps: establishing, by a server, a location sharing group comprising a plurality of vehicle-mounted navigation terminals; receiving, by the server, location information transmitted by the vehicle-mounted navigation terminal inthe location sharing group; transmitting, by the server, the location information of other vehicle-mounted navigation terminals to the vehicle-mounted navigation terminal in the location sharing group; and displaying, by each vehicle-mounted navigation terminal, the location information of each vehicle-mounted navigation terminal in the location sharing group on a navigation map. According to thevehicle location sharing method and system, the location sharing group of a plurality of vehicle-mounted navigation terminals is established and the location information of all vehicle-mounted terminals in the sharing group is transmitted to each vehicle-mounted terminal, so that each vehicle-mounted navigation terminal acquires the location information of other vehicle-mounted navigation terminalin real time, thereby improving the fun of a self-driving tour with multiple person and multiple vehicles.
