The plateau power compensation method comprises the followingsteps: 1, acquiring an excess air coefficient plateau correction factor MAP1; 2, acquiring an excess air coefficient plateau correction factor MAP2; 3, acquiring a plain target excess air coefficientMAP; and 4, multiplying the excess air coefficient plateau correction factor 1 by the excess air coefficient plateau correction factor 2 and then multiplying by the plain target excess air coefficientunder the current rotating speed and load conditions so as to acquire an appropriate plateau correction target excess air coefficient at different altitudes and under the different engine working conditions on a plateau, and serving the plateau correction target excess air coefficient as the input for gas injection. By adoption of the plateau power compensation device and compensation method, thecorrection of a target excess air coefficient can be achieved when the vehicles runs on the plateau, and then the power reduction caused by a thin atmosphere can be avoided.
