Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a system and a device for collecting log, and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes collecting the target log of operating systems when faults of the operating systems are monitored; transmitting the target log to a BMC (baseboard management controller) via KCS (keyboard controller style) links to store the target log in the BMC. The method, thesystem, the device and the computer readable storage medium in an embodiment of the invention have the advantages that the target log can be transmitted to the BMC via the KCS links when faults of theoperating systems occur, and can be stored in the BMC, accordingly, the corresponding target log can be viewed or downloaded in the BMC when the operating systems crash, the current crash can be analyzed by the aid of the corresponding target log without reappearance of the faults, the crash analysis efficiency can be effectively improved, the crash durations can be shortened, and servers can bequickly put into normal use.
