Abstract

The present disclosure provides a system and method for controlling turning of a vehicle. The method of controlling the turning of the vehicle may include: determining whether the turning control condition is satisfied based on the lateral acceleration; when the turning control condition is satisfied, detecting the displacement of the accelerator pedal; calculating the SPI based on the displacement of the accelerator pedal and a predetermined value; At least one of the acceleration is used to set the operating mode of the powertrain and the operating mode of the suspension system.
