Abstract

An image forming device includes a developing cartridge, a drum cartridge, an electric contact, a frame body, a first guide part and a second guide part. The developing cartridge includes: a storage medium having an electrical contact surface; and a holding portion. The holding part includes: a first outer surface holding the electrical contact surface; a second outer surface; and an elastic member connected to the first outer surface and the second outer surface. The drum cartridge includes: a photosensitive drum; and a holding portion supporting portion. The developer cartridge can be attached to the housing in a state where the developer cartridge is attached to the drum cartridge. The frame is configured to allow the developer cartridge to move from the first position to the second position and then from the second position to the third position during insertion of the developer cartridge into the frame. The first guide portion is configured to guide the first outer surface. The second guide portion is configured to allow the electrical contact surface to contact the electrical contacts during insertion of the developing cartridge into the frame.
