Abstract

The invention discloses a battery pack and an electric vehicle. The battery pack comprises at least two batteries which are arranged in series and at least one disconnecting unit, wherein each batterycomprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and the at least one disconnecting unit is connected with the positive electrode of a first battery and the negative electrode of a second battery adjacent to the first battery, and is used for disconnecting the first battery from the second battery when current variation of the battery pack exceeds a threshold value. The disconnecting unitis arranged between the positive electrode of the first battery and the negative electrode of the second battery adjacent to the first battery, and can disconnect the first battery from the second battery under a preset condition, so that the battery pack is unlikely to have short-circuit, and an electric shock accident can be avoided.
