Embodiment 1

[0042] Embodiment 1 discloses a fault monitoring method for an auxiliary exciter, which includes:

[0043] Real-time detection of phase voltage and phase current at the side of the auxiliary exciter; for details, refer to figure 1 , phase voltages and phase currents can be obtained by using voltage transformers and current transformers at 41E in the figure.

[0044] If all the positive-sequence voltages in the detected phase voltages are reduced to the first threshold value and the negative-sequence voltage appears at the same time, it is judged that there is an inter-turn short circuit fault and an alarm is issued.

[0045] If the phase voltage includes three phases and the three-phase voltages drop to the second threshold at the same time, or the phase voltage includes two phases and the two-phase voltage has a negative sequence voltage, it is judged that there is an interphase short circuit fault and an alarm is issued. Wherein, the second threshold value is greater than t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for monitoring a fault of a secondary exciter. The method comprises: phase voltages of a secondary exciter end are detected in real time; if all positive sequence voltages in the detected phase voltages are reduced to be a first threshold value and negative sequence voltages occur at the same time, inter-turn short circuit fault occurrence is determinedand alarming is carried out; if the phase voltages include three-phase voltages and the three-phase voltages are simultaneously lowered to be second threshold values or the phase voltages include two-phase voltages and negative sequence voltages occur in the two-phase voltages, inter-phase short circuit fault occurrence is determined and alarming is carried out; and if a zero-sequence voltage occurs, grounding short-circuit fault occurrence is determined and alarming is carried out. According to the invention, uninterrupted real-time monitoring is carried out during the running of the motor and thus the operating state, a fault part, and a fault cause of the single machine are determined. Alarming is carried out accurately before a serious fault occurring at a permanent-magnet auxiliary exciter and thus emergency measures are taken conveniently, so that the serious fault occurrence of burning the secondary exciter is avoided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of generators, in particular to a fault monitoring method and system for an auxiliary exciter. Background technique [0002] Three-machine brushless excitation systems are often used in the generator excitation system, and the fault monitoring of the auxiliary exciter plays an important role in the normal grid-connected power generation operation of the three-machine brushless excitation system and even the generator. In order to prevent the motor from malfunctioning, regular inspection is generally adopted, that is, a relatively comprehensive inspection of the stator and rotor winding resistance, inductance, etc. of the motor within a certain period of time. However, regular inspection is difficult to detect some hidden internal faults, and the detection effect is not good. Contents of the invention [0003] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a fault monitoring method and sys...
