Abstract

The invention discloses a local discharge detection equipment and method of a switch cabinet. The detection equipment comprises a ceramic capacitor core insulator, a local discharge signal extractiondevice, a charge indicating device and a local discharge detection device. The charge indicating device comprises a charge indicating circuit. The local discharge signal extraction device is connectedwith the charge indicating device in parallel, the local discharge signal extraction device comprises an energy supply capacitor and a signal extraction resistor which are sequentially connected in series, and a local discharge detection point is arranged between the energy supply capacitor and the signal extraction resistor. A coupling capacitor is arranged in the ceramic capacitor core insulator, and the ceramic capacitor core insulator is connected to a grounding wire of the charge indicating device in series. One end of the local discharge detection device is electrically connected with the local discharge detection point, and the other end of the local discharge detection device is grounded. When local discharge signals are measured, measurement is convenient, detection signals are strong, and the anti-interference capacity is high.
