Abstract

The present invention relates to a screen bowling simulation system, and more specifically to a screen bowling simulation system comprising: a short lane and a sensing lane extending in the lengthwisedirection on one plane; a gutter, installed at either side of the lanes; an optical sensor unit which is installed on the sensing lane; a screen which is installed above the boundary between the short lane and the sensing lane; a computer which calculates the kinetic information of a bowling pin; and a projector which irradiates an image of a bowling ball and bowling pins on the screen. The screen bowling simulation system can create a game result similar to that at a real bowling alley because a sensor for detecting kinetic information of a bowling ball can easily detect a change in angle ofthe bowling ball, and there are the concerns of disturbing the view of a bowler or changing the path of the bowling ball.
