The method comprises the steps of: if an interface connected with main BRAS-UP (BRAS User Plane) equipment is abnormal or a fault message sent by the main BRAS-UP equipment is received, determining that a main tunnel has afault; and if the main tunnel has the fault and a standby tunnel does not have a fault, sending user data corresponding to the main BRAS-UP equipment to standby BRAS-UP equipment by the standby tunnel, so that the standby BRAS-UP equipment carries out service processing according to the user data.
