Meanwhile,an elastic cushion block expands and retracts together with the expansion joint in the expanding and retracting process of the expansion joint; rainwater on a road bridge can enter a flowing channelof the elastic cushion block from the surface of the road bridge through a gap between the left comb teeth and the right comb teeth and can be drained from the flowing channel; and therefore, the water drainage efficiency of the road bridge is greatly enhanced. The strength of the connecting parts of a left steel plate and the left comb teeth can be enhanced by using a first reinforcing rib; and the strength of the connecting parts of a right steel plate and the right comb teeth can be enhanced by using a second reinforcing rib; and therefore, the comb teeth are prevented from being deformed under pressing of a vehicle when the vehicle passes through the left comb teeth and the right comb teeth.
