Abstract

The complex fracture network permeability calculation method comprises the following steps that S1, a rock core is drilled from a shale reservoir section, and the drilled rock core is manufactured into a standard rock corewith the diameter being 2.5 cm and the length being 5.0 cm; S2, the end face of the rock core is subjected to CT scanning, a scanned image is subjected to grey processing, and thus the number, position and morphological features of fractures are identified; S3, based on the image in the S2, the fractal dimension for representing the rock complex fracture network is obtained by using a box method;S4, based on the fractal dimension in the S3, a two-dimensional discrete fracture network model is generated by utilizing a Monte Carlo stochastic modeling theory; and S5, based on the two-dimensional discrete fracture network model, the permeability of the complex fracture network is calculated through an improved cubic law.
