Large area position/proximity correction device with alarms using (D)GPS technology

A collar to be worn on an object or a large or small animal has been designed incorporating (D)GPS technology. The operation of the device includes programming the three dimensional boundary into the memory of the device and simply installing the collar on the animal. As the animal approaches the preprogrammed boundary, a first alarm sounds when the subject is within an arbitrary user defined distance, and a second more drastic alarm such as a shock correction is applied when the subject approaches a second position closer to the boundary. Means to easily program the device are also included in the system. The device has the capability to call or transmit important information such as location, speed, identity, and medical parameters etc to a station automatically or when polled. All necessary analog and digital circuitry, microprocessor, programming, communications hardware are integrated into the collar. The device also has applications in land, air and sea navigation, farming, construction, tracking stolen vehicles, and keeping track of children. This device could also be embedded in a specialized lawnmower that would know where your yard ended and your neighbor's began, and traverse around all obstacles in the yard. Important Military applications would include warning and directing soldiers of front line boundaries, minefield mapping and 3-D direction around MOA's for aircraft.

Litter box assembly

A litter box assembly is described that comprises a box for containing litter, having a base, rigid side walls, an opening in one of the side walls, and a removable lid atop the side walls; and a flexible tunnel, preferably made of an accordion plastic. The tunnel allows for the ingress and egress of a small animal, preferably a "so-called" indoor pet such as a cat, and supports the weight of the small animal during its ingress and egress to and from the litter box. The tunnel is preferably suspended above the ground via removable attachments to the opening in the litter box, the to an opening in a residence. The litter box is not fixed in a particular orientation relative to the opening in the residence, even when connected to the tunnel. The litter box is preferably substantially divided, by an interior wall, into a waste chamber for containing litter and an interior passageway. The interior passageway may comprises holes on the floor to allow the passage of litter through the holes during ingress and egress of the animal, but small enough to prevent passage of the feet of the animal through the holes. The rigid side walls of the litter box may also comprise wall holes, which may be covered by overhangs, where the wall holes are of a size to permit the free flow of air and gases into and out of the litter box, and small enough to prevent passage of the animal from the litter box through the holes.

The method includes the following steps of S1, inputting a monitoring video, S2, initializing the video, wherein the mixing line and an interesting region are set in the video, and the minimum filtering movement target area is selected according to the resolution ratio of the input video to be detected, S3, detecting the foreground, wherein movement targets are detected and tracked, and the movement target needing to be detected is filtered out, S4, carrying out mixing line detection or cross-border detection, wherein the cross-border detection comprises the two phenomena of intrusion detection and fleeing detection, S5, carrying out the S3 and the S4 repeatedly for every later new movement target. By means of the method for directional cross-border detection and mixing line detection in the video, the movement targets are filtered, targets which do not need to be detected such as birds and small animals are excluded, detection accuracy is improved, detections of leaving and the movement direction of the movement target can be achieved on the basis of mixing line detection and intrusion detection, detection is fully functional, and the method better meets actual application requirements.
