Problems solved by technology

This patent only solves the problem of measuring the value of pelvic floor organ prolapse. When using it, an endoscope is required. After the measurement of the value of pelvic floor organ prolapse, it needs to be manually recorded. It can only be implemented with the cooperation of one or two assistants, which is very uneconomical in today's tight medical human resources

Abstract

The invention discloses a Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POP-Q) tool and the instructions thereof. The tool comprises a measuring rod and a quantification mechanism, wherein an electric resistance ITO film is arranged on the outer surface of the measuring rod. The quantification mechanism comprises a button, a memory, a CPU and a display. When the measuring rod extends into each detection position of the vagina in turn, the corresponding button is pressed accordingly. The point on the electric resistance ITO film corresponding to the position of the hymen edge of the measuring rod is pressed at the same time, and the measured value of the voltage change of the pressing point on the electric resistance ITO film is stored in the corresponding memory in response to the button. The CPUconverts the measurement value into a physical position value and compares the physical position value with the specified comparison value. Therefore, the quantification result is produced on the display by the CPU. The POP-Q tool has the advantages that the tool runs without the endoscope, the reading and recording of the data are not processed by itself, the POP-Q work is convenient, fast and accurate. The POP-Q can significantly save the medical resources and ease the pain of patient.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical devices, in particular to a pelvic floor organ prolapse evaluation device used in a POP-Q evaluation system. Background technique [0002] Pelvic floor organ prolapse (Pelvic Organ Prolapse, POP) is a common gynecological disease, which is related to the age of women. Up to 50% of people experience symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse. The evaluation of the severity of pelvic floor organ prolapse is an important basis for the treatment of pelvic floor organ prolapse. The evaluation system (POP-Q), which was recognized and promoted by the International Continence Association in the year it was formulated, has become the most widely used prolapse evaluation system abroad. [0003] The POP-Q evaluation system is mainly based on the position of the hymen limbus. Under the condition of adding abdominal pressure, the distance from the midline of the anterior vaginal wall (corresponding to the fold of the...
