Problems solved by technology

[0004] However, this master node selection method requires each node to send performance parameters to all other nodes according to a fixed period, and the number of communications is large, which wastes network resources.
And each node needs to calculate and determine the new master node according to the performance parameters of all nodes. The performance parameters may include various types of parameters. The calculation is more complicated and has a certain impact on the overall performance of the system.
At the same time, due to the complex calculation, it will also take a long time to select a new master node

Embodiment Construction

[0034] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the implementation manner of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0035] see figure 1 , is a schematic diagram of a network framework of a distributed system provided by an embodiment of the present invention. The distributed system may include multiple nodes, each node is connected through a network, and the nodes may be computers. The client can be connected to multiple nodes in the distributed system through the network, and the distributed system can serve as the server side to provide data for the client. The multiple nodes include a master node and multiple slave nodes. When a client accesses data in the distributed system, the client can send an access request to the master node or the slave node, and the access request sent by the client has Some can respond directly through the slave node,...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and device for selecting a master node in a distributed system, wherein the method is applied to any node in the distributed system; and the method comprises the stepsof: obtaining authorized information sent by at least one target node, wherein the target node is a node, the performance parameter value of which is not less than a pre-set numerical value, in the distributed system; and, when a master node reselection condition is satisfied, determining a master node from the target nodes sending the authorized information, wherein the priority level of the master node in the target nodes is the highest. In the embodiment of the invention, only the node, which has the authority as the master node, sends the authorized information to other nodes; the node, which does not have the authority as the master node, does not send the authorized information to other nodes; therefore, the communication time of the whole system is reduced; simultaneously, the master node is only selected from the nodes having the authority as the master node; furthermore, only the priority levels of the various nodes need to be compared; and thus, the master node selection speed is speeded up.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of the Internet, in particular to a method and device for selecting a master node in a distributed system. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of Internet technology, the application range of distributed systems is becoming wider and wider. The distributed system is a cluster system composed of multiple autonomous computers as nodes through a communication network, and the distributed system can serve as the server side to provide data for the client. In a distributed system, one node is usually selected as the master node (master), while other nodes in the system are used as slave nodes (slave). The access request sent by the client usually needs to be sent to the master node first, and then the master node sends the access request to the slave node, and the slave node performs specific tasks. The response information generated by executing tasks from the slave node also needs to be s...
