Abstract

The embodiments of the present invention provide an SDN network data flow monitoring method, an SDN controller, a switching device and system. The method comprises the following steps: issuing a firstconfiguration for counting data flow to a first switching device and at least one second switching device in the SDN network; issuing a second figuration for marking the data flow to the first switching device; transmitting a request for reporting the counting value of a last period to the first switching device and each second switching device; when the first switching device and the second switching devices count the data flow according to the marking value corresponding to the current period, receiving the counting value which counts the data flow according to the corresponding marking value within the last period and is reported via the first switching device and the second switching devices; and determining a monitoring result of the data flow within the last period according to thecounting value. The embodiment of the invention realizes continuous failure monitoring of the specific service data flow and provides a prerequisite for rapid error correction and recovery of the service.
