Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a face image detection method and device, a storage medium, and an electronic device. The method comprises determining the quality of a plurality of face images acquired from a video stream according to a quality standard threshold corresponding to environmental factors in the video stream, to obtain first face images satisfying a quality standard; acquiring, fromthe plurality of first face images, target face images matching a plurality of valid face images in a face database, and the similarity between the target face images and the matched valid face images; and comparing the similarity with a target similarity threshold preset according to a plurality of environmental factors to determine whether a person in the target face images is a valid person. The method can screen out the face images satisfying the quality standard from the acquired face images based on the environmental factors in the video, determines whether the face images satisfying the quality standard are valid or not according to the environmental factors, and improves the adaptability, the accuracy and the efficiency of face recognition.
