Abstract

The color of an object to be measured is measured with high precision by receiving light at a measurement timing at which the light receiving amount is sufficiently obtained. A colorimetry apparatus (1) for measuring the color of an object to be measured based on reflected light from the object to be measured (W) comprises a light source (21) which irradiates with light; a rotary plate (42) whichenables a plurality of interference light filters (45) to rotate and perform light splitting on light from the light source; a light receiving sensor (38) for receiving the light obtained by light splitting through the plurality of interference filters; and a correction unit which, based on spectral distribution of the light receiving sensor, corrects the measurement timing of the light receivingsensor from a theoretical value to a measured value at which a peak of spectral distribution is obtained, and at the corrected measurement timing, the reflected light from the object to be measured being received by the light receiving sensor, and the color of the object to be measured being measured.
