Abstract

The present application discloses a map tile updating method and device and a computer readable storage medium, belonging to the field of maps. The method comprises: when a geographic entity change request sent by an administrator client is received, updating target tile metadata, and updating a tile status of the target tile metadata. Since an unread status indicates that processing of a map tile corresponding to tile metadata is incomplete, when a tile matrix set subsequently needs to be updated the tile matrix set can be updated only according to tile metadata for which the tile status is unread, avoiding re-determining of spatial vector data of all geographic entities in order to update a tile matrix set of each type of geographic entity, effectively alleviating stress during tile matrix set updating, and improving updating efficiency. In addition, target map tiles corresponding to a current map resolution can be returned to an administrator client in real time.
