Abstract

The invention provides a water faucet mechanism. The water faucet mechanism comprises a water faucet, a main control module, a first ultraviolet unit and a hand rubbing device arranged on the water faucet, wherein the first ultraviolet unit is in communication connection with the main control module; the hand rubbing device comprises a hand rubbing body which is opposite to a water outlet of the water faucet; an accommodating cavity is arranged in the hand rubbing body; and the first ultraviolet unit is arranged in the accommodating cavity, and can emit deep ultraviolet light through the handrubbing body. The hand rubbing body is utilized for rubbing a hand, the water faucet is utilized for flushing, and the first ultraviolet unit is used for disinfecting and sterilizing, so that hand washing is more complete, and applicability is wide. The invention further provides a control method for the water faucet mechanism, and the control method comprises the following steps of: enabling a human body to approach a sensor to monitor a distance between the human body and the hand rubbing body, and feeding back the distance to the main control module; and judging whether the distance betweenthe human body and the hand rubbing body is a preset approaching distance or not by the main control module, controlling the first ultraviolet unit to emit preset amount of deep ultraviolet light ifthe distance between the human body and the hand rubbing body is the preset approaching distance, otherwise, controlling the first ultraviolet unit to switch off.
