Abstract

The present invention discloses a system and method for determining text containing confidential data. The present invention relates to systems and methods for preventing data loss of confidential data in computer systems. The technique includes searching text data for one or more keywords and then calculating a density of keywords in the text data based on the one or more keywords matching the text data. This technique classifies text data as containing confidential data based on whether the density of keywords exceeds a threshold. If the density of keywords exceeds a threshold, the system can block the use of text data containing confidential data in various ways.
