Abstract

A charged particle beam therapy device capable of shortening a time required for charged particle beam treatment is provided. An irradiation unit (2) includes a scanning electromagnet (6) for scanninga charged particle beam (B) at a predetermined position, which is a predetermined layer irradiated in the depth direction of the charged particle beam (B).
