The electric connector comprises a shell (10), a cable,an electric connection component and a first moulded part (5), wherein the cable comprises a plurality of traverses and a coating layer which coats the plurality of traverses; the electric connectioncomponent is electrically connected with the traverses and is inserted into the shell (10) and constructed to be electrically connected with the cooperation electric connector; and the first mouldedpart (5) is combined with the shell in a splicing way in a cable extending direction and is moulded on one part of the non-stripped coating layer of the cable and at least one part of the traverses ofwhich the coating layer is stripped. By use of the electric connector, the traverses can be favorably clamped, in addition, a shell structure is simplified, cost is lowered, and meanwhile, reliable electric connection is guaranteed.
