Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a video call method and a terminal, and belongs to the technical field of communication. The video call method is applied to a first terminal; the first terminal comprises two display screens and cameras corresponding to each display screen; and the method comprises the steps of: after a video call is established with a second terminal, turning on the cameras respectively corresponding to the two display screens at the same time, and respectively sending video images acquired by the cameras corresponding to the two display screens to the second terminal; and displaying the video images received from the second terminal on at least one display screen. According to the embodiment of the invention, the problems that two users only can check the video images sent by the second terminal through one display screen and the second terminal only can receive the video image acquired by one camera when the two users perform a video call with a third party(the second terminal) by using a first terminal can be avoided.
