An embodiment of the invention provides a door access control method and a device based on face recognition. The method comprises the steps of: collecting a face image of a user and obtaining a to-be-recognized face image; recognizing the to-be-recognized face image using a deep learning based face recognition model and determining whether a five-senses feature exists in the to-be-recognized faceimage; if yes, extracting a five-senses feature vector of the to-be-recognized face image and matching the five-senses feature vector with the five-senses feature vector of a plurality of face image samples in a member database; obtaining a matching result, if the matching result indicates that the user is a member, controlling opening of the door access; and if the matching result indicates thatthe user is a non-member, keeping closing of the door access and outputting a member registration link. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the problem of low control efficiency of the door access can be solved.
