Abstract

Methods and systems for controlling a transmission power of a communication device of a movable object may include or be configured to carry out the steps of determining a distance between the movableobject and a second object located outside the movable object; determining a transmission power level based on at least the determined distance between the movable object and the second object and atarget signal-to-noise level for signals received at the second object; and transmitting signals from the movable object to the second object based on the determined transmission power level.
