The locking method comprises the following steps that the engine ECU sends a message with a random length of a specific ID to the vehicle-mounted T-BOX through a CAN bus, and the vehicle-mounted T-BOX receives the message, calculates a secret value of the 32-bit length through the standard MD5 algorithm and feeds back the secret value to the engine ECU; the engine ECU checks the secret value, if the verification is not successful, the step 1 continues to be executed, if the verification is not successfully continuously for 15 times, the vehicle-mounted T-BOX sends the information that the verification is not successful to the remote console, the engine ECU starts to perform timekeeping on the working time of the excavator, if the accumulated working time of the excavator exceeds 24 hours, the engine ECU executes automatic locking, the excavator is not allowed to start, and meanwhile, the vehicle-mounted T-BOX uploads excavator position information to the remote console; and if the verification is successful, the engine ECU does not send the message to the vehicle-mounted T-BOX any longer, and the excavator is normal and not locked.
