The algorithm is mainly characterized in that firstly, a new extended phase stretching kernel function is provided, and the performance of the extended phase stretching kernel function is obviously superior to that of a traditional arc tangent S-type kernel function; and secondly, an edge detection strategy combining extended phase stretching transformation and total variation is designed. By adoption of the method, more abundant small-scale microvascular characteristics can be detected and enhanced. Cluttered background noise is inhibited, the noise is more robust. The extracted angiography edge characteristic image is fused with an original image to obtain a very good angiography image enhancement sharpening effect.
