The invention provides a fatigue reminding system and a fatigue reminding method, applied to a rotary drilling rig. The fatigue reminding system comprises a camera device, a processor and a reminding device, wherein the camera device and the reminding device both are in electrical connection with the processor; the camera device is used for acquiring images of a driver in the rotary drilling rig in real time; the processor is used for acquiring a first moment when a first command is received and a second moment when a second command is received, and the first command and the second command are successive; the processor is also used for obtaining actual time interval between the first moment and the second moment according to the first moment and the second moment, and acquiring a target image of the driver currently acquired by the camera device when the actual time interval is greater than preset time interval; and the processor is also used for judging whether the driver is in a fatigue state according to the target image, and controlling the reminding device to remind the driver when the driver is judged as being in the fatigue state, thereby preventing construction accidents caused by fatigued operations of the driver.
